Timber Ridge Manor is closing this week and there are still a few senior residents in need of moving assistance.

One of the residents, Jo Marie, is moving out Sunday, Nov. 10, between 12–2 p.m. and needs 5–6 volunteers to help her load her truck. Please come to assist!

We are looking for 300 students, families and community members to help us pack 8,000 packages for a Christmas Behind Bars project that will send care packages and encouraging literature to incarcerated individuals. Join us on Sunday, Oct. 27. Use this to sign up. 

Come join us for an amazing Holy Spirit-led and prayer-saturated Bible study. Journey with us as we commune with God in scripture. This is a Christ-centered study geared toward learning how to cultivate intimacy in our relationship with God, learning how to apply scripture to our lives, and navigating real life issues like emptiness, depression, anxiety, capacity, addictions, etc. Light snacks and fellowship to follow.

This Spring 2024 semester, the theme for Kinetic Worship is “Jesus is _____.” We are going to dive into Jesus’ “I am” statements and explore Him as King, High Priest, Messiah, etc. Ultimately, we want to understand more about Christ’s authority, kingship and priesthood in our lives and the riches we have available to us in Him because of our new identity as redeemed sons and daughters of God. We will be taking a Jesus-centered journey through scripture, and our hope is that the Lord will ignite a fiery passion in the hearts of everyone on the 老司机传媒 campus (and online) so that people can experience Jesus, the Gospel and radical transformation of heart. We hope that you will see and hear scripture like you’ve never seen or heard it before! It is our prayer that through dynamic worship, powerful Christ-centered messages and loving fellowship, people will leave with faith on fire for Jesus because hope has been restored and they are able to see a clearer picture of who Jesus is and who they are in Him. 

Matthew Sleeth, MD is an author, speaker, and advocate of creation care. A former emergency room physician, Sleeth wrote his first book, Serve God, Save the Planet[1] (Zondervan), in May 2006. Since then, he has spoken more than 900 times[2] in churches, schools and to media outlets about the biblical mandate to care for the Earth.

Join us this sabbath for the last service sabbath of the semester. 

We meet at 2:30pm at PMC to load the vans to the 4 different locations:

1. Food Drive collection in Benton Harbor

2. Music for Seniors @ Provision Living

3. Beach Pick up - Biophilia CLub

4. Delivery of Easter Baskets to churchs and nurisng home for kids and seniors.

A New Life small group for faculty, staff and community members is launching this Saturday, Oct. 20, from 10:30–11:30 a.m. This small group will be hosted by Mario Ferguson, pastor, and will be held in the Center for Engagement office located in the Campus Center.

AU NSSLHA Chapter and the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders is hosting a can/non perishable food drive for Red Bud Ministries.

Redbud Area Ministries is an interdenominational and interracial ministry center started to organize the churches in the Buchanan and Galien School Districts to respond to individual and family needs.

Location drop-off: The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders, Bell Hall 114. We will be accepting donations from now until April 9.

Join New Life as we celebrate the many ways that God has demonstrated his love and care to us throughout this semester. 

New Life Fellowship is a vibrant worship experience for students, faculty, staff and community members. This Sabbath, Chaplain Danielle Pilgrim will be speaking on the theme "Lifeline."

Join the chaplains for an enjoyable time in the Center for 老司机传媒 office located in the Campus Center.

God's Abundant Pantry is a pantry that provides food and groceries for around 150 families. We are open on Tuesday's and we are looking for more student help one Tuesday every month from 3:00pm-7:00pm. 

Responsibilities include:

* To open the pantry.

*Pull out all the grocery carts.

*All items go on the table. (Rice, beans etc.)

*Items are taken out of the freezer and refrigerator.

*Student volunteers/or volunteers stand behind the table to hand out items.

*When done, put everything away.

*Sign forms for student volunteers for the government.

*May need to drum up more volunteers.
