Adventist mission work today touches lives in more than 200 countries and areas of the world. Adventist mission workers preach the gospel, teach relevant living skills, heal people through Adventist hospitals and clinics, spread the gospel on radio and television, run development projects to make better lives for people, and provide comforting relief in times of suffering.
It depends on the location and organization you are accepted to, however most students pay around $3,000 for the year of serving, that includes your flight, housing, food, training, and more. Not a bad price for a year!

No problem, because while you are serving your are still considered a full time AU students, your loans are differed through our office.
Yes, you are eligable for a missions scholarship the year that you are abroad and the semester after you return from your serice (in order to apply you must serve at least 4 months or longer.)
Yes, you are still considered a full time Andrew University student and can take classes online or recieve internship credits while abroad.
There are many different locations you can go, there are calls in the U.S. and did you know that Micronsea Islands are U.S. Territory?! So many locations and need around the world! We will make sure you find something that's right for you and the program you are in and visa you are on.
