Annual history/literature tours alternate among four different localities: New England, the South, Canada, and England, with the England tour being held once every three years. Students participating on these tours must be registered for the tour class during their second semester. The week-long tour is held at the beginning of May, except for the England tour which is often held over spring break.
Our most recent England Tour was from March 28 – April 8, 2018. Students in this class studied English literature and history in preparation for the trip.
Some of the highlights of their trip included Windsor Castle, Canterbury Cathedral, White Cliffs of Dover and Dover Castle, Tower of London and Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, London Eye, The British Museum, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Shakespeare’s birthplace and grave, Bath, and the Magna Carta.
