Military Friendly

Certified as a  we welcome active military and veteran students! Up to 90 credits towards a bachelor degree can be transferred from accredited colleges and universities and through credit awards on ACE-recommended military transcripts.

Discounted Online Costs

Degree completion cost will depend on:

  • How many transferable credits meet degree requirements
  • How much credit for prior college-level learning may be awarded
  • Your program length: 18 credit certificates, 62 credits associates, or 124 credit bachelors
  • What financial aid (scholarships and loans) you may be eligible for
  • Whether your study part-time or full-time 

The good news is that tuition is discounted to $470 per credit for all online undergraduate programs.  An online degree fee of $160 per semester and textbook purchase/rental will vary depending on the pace and classes you choose.  Meet with an academic and financial advisor for a detailed study plan and cost fitting your study choices.

Wondering how to finance your degree completion program? Consider these ways to lower your cost: 

  • US residents should submit a FAFSA form to learn what grants and scholarships may be awarded.  Find the Andrews code & details here.

  • File applicable tax breaks: in the USA, the American Opportunity Tax Credit and the Lifetime Learning Tax Credit.

Frequently Asks Questions

Persons who are 1) 25 years or older OR 2) who are active military or veterans, AND have not enrolled in a degree program in the last 2 years, may apply as adult students.  Adult applicants to all online undergraduate certificates, associate and bachelor programs need:

  • A transcript showing completion of high/secondary school or equivalent (e.g. GED) AND transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
  • Evidence of English language proficiency if past education was completed where English was not the language of instruction (see accepted test scores )
  • A grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher, calculated including all secondary (when less than 25 college credits have been earned) and post-secondary transcripted grades, converted to the US 4.0 GPA scale. Re-applicants 25 years or older who have been inactive for at least 2 semesters may be admitted as adult students with an 老司机传媒 GPA of 2.0 or better.

Applications are welcome year-round. Here are the steps:

  1. Apply online today .
  2. Create an account to save your application first.
  3. Then click to start an application.
  4. Select UNDERGRADUATE as level, DISTANCE/ONLINE as campus, the semester you'd like to begin (Fall starts in August, Spring in January, Summer in May/June), then read directions to fill in all the personal info carefully. 
  5. If you previously attended Andrews, add a comment noting any name change and your AU ID if remembered. 
  6. After submitting the application, gather all transcripts, scan or take photos and upload as supplemental items. The application will not be processed until there is a transcript from each school/college/university you listed in the application. If you don't have a copy, request an official transcript be emailed to undergrad@andrews.edu then forward any confirmation you received to alert Undergraduate Admissions to the incoming transcript.
  7. Once you have all transcript copies uploaded, watch for an admission decision within 2-3 business days. If you have any questions or additional information, email undergrad@andrews.edu right away.

It all depends on choices you make, such as:

  • the number of credits you transfer in or earn as credit for prior learning
  • your pace - full-time or part-time (most commonly 2 classes per semester)
  • your budget - a mix of scholarships, personal savings, and loans
  • your progress - passing all classes with grades of C or higher is the goal
