Seventh-day Adventists are often known for sticking to themselves and not being willing to interact with other denominations/faiths. Something that could help challenge this stereotype in our communities is to open our school to an annual interfaith evening of prayer. As the event organizers, we will demonstrate that we care deeply for our communities and want to worship God together. Reach out to leaders of other faiths in your community, and be a blessing to all involved. Each year you can choose a topic to pray about that is troubling to your community in particular. Holding an event like this will attract people who would not typically come to your church or school but who recognize the love and care that you have for the community's physical and spiritual well-being. Let's worship God together.
