Language barriers can be challenging to navigate in everyday life and often prevent people from accessing resources. While English is the most widely spoken language in the U.S., there are many Spanish-speakers, among other languages. By offering English classes to ESL (English as a Second Language) speakers, you can help build confidence and ease newcomers' transitions into this country. Collect data on available teachers and times that best fit those in the community who need help. Then create small classes that teach concepts at the level(s) of need.
