老司机传媒 has applied for accreditation for our new Occupational Therapy Doctorate program and have been granted applicant status by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), located at 7501 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 510E Bethesda, MD 20814. Once our candidacy has been granted (anticipated in April 2025), will admit our first cohort for the Fall 2025. Accreditation decision will not be made till the second last semester (April 2028) of the first cohort prior to graduation. The program must have a preaccreditation review, complete an on-site evaluation, and be granted Accreditation Status before its graduates will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination for the occupational therapist administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Program Specific Graduation Requirements
• Completion of a bachelor’s degree (BS or other).
• An earned minimum grade of “C+” (2.33) or “S” in each OTD program course.
• Maintain a cumulative OTD program GPA of 3.00.
• No more than a cumulative total of five points earned on the grade-point scale throughout the occupational therapy program (see OTD Student Handbook).
• Students must be able to perform skills listed in the Technical Standards of Performance and demonstrate professional behaviors as outlined in the OTD Student Handbook.
• Satisfactory completion of Comprehensives I, II, and III, all fieldwork experiences, capstone experience and project presentation, professional development portfolio and OTD Graduate Exit Survey

International Language Requirements: Applicants who have been given any part of their education outside the US or Canada or whose first language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency by providing evidence through one of the following methods. Exceptions may be granted by the School of Rehabilitation Sciences on an individual basis. Tests must be taken within one year prior to application. TOEFL internet-based test (iBT) is preferred.
