Religion Minor
The religion minor is designed for students interested in gaining a deeper understanding of Adventist Theology. Since your 12 credits of ACE/GE count towards the minor, you only have eight additional credits (2-3 classes)
Minor Requirements

15 credits from RELB, RELG, RELP, and RELT.

5 credits from any course in the department subject to consultation with your academic advisor.

6 of the 20 credits must be from upper-division classes.
OUTCOMES
Graduates of this program will be able to:

Document foundational knowledge in the areas of Bible, history, and theology from a Seventh-day Adventist perspective.

Effectively communicate the global mission, beliefs, and heritage of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Document service experiences & skills in community and cross-cultural contexts.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Students who are enrolled at Andrews are reqquired to take 12 credits of religion as part of the ACE (Andrews Core Expereince) program. These classes will count toward a religion minor. So, students will need to take only 8 more credits to complete their religion minor. This is traditionally done with just 3 additional classes.
