The Chief Academic Officer (CAO) is the second officer of the university, serving as the Vice-President for Academic Administration. The primary function of the CAO serves to ensure that relevant academic activities contribute to the fulfillment of the university’s mission. This person carries broad responsibility for the university’s academic programs, goals, and excellence. The CAO reports to the President and is a member of the President’s Cabinet.

The CAO must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing that holds a doctoral degree.  This individual must show evidence of effective sprititual and academic leadership.  Other qualifications can be found in the qualifications section of the full job description.

The Placement Coordinator will work within the Center for Community Change, a Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary and maintain internal placement database of enrollees. Assist with and corrordinate projects along with the Project Manager. Oversee simple activities to more complex plans.

Undergraduate university diploma; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Assistant Director will work within the Center for Community Change, a Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary to provide training and mentoring support to project participants with community development and social innovation, also in needs assessment, grant writing, and project management.

Graduate level degree - M.Div. preferred with a minimum of 5 years in pastoral ministry within the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Leads the 老司机传媒 Discipleship Center (AUDC), overseeing its operations and programs with a focus on advancing its mission to cultivate discipleship in emerging generations. This role involves developing and refining strategic initiatives to support resource creation, provide consulting services, and offer mentorship. A primary focus is on designing and managing impactful discipleship programs specifically tailored for high school and university students, ensuring the AUDC remains a dynamic hub for spiritual growth and leadership development.

• Graduate degree required, MDiv degree preferred
• Experience and passion for youth and young adult faith development required
• Strong communication and networking skills
• Experience in organizational and program development preferred
• Experience in secondary and/or higher education preferred
• Pastoral experience preferred
• Cultural fluency and experience working with diverse populations

The Industry Lab Coordinator, part of the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, is responsible for developing and maintaining relations with external companies and organizations for the purpose of attracting project collaborations between them and 老司机传媒. This position oversees and collaborates with the Engineer-In-Residence position, part of the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, to ensure proper management and delivery of only the industry project collaborations managed by the Industry Lab.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree required with business degree, or other bachelor’s degree.

EXPERIENCE

Some business experience is preferred, but not required for applicants with a business degree. Will be trained on the job. For applicants without a business degree, a minimum of 1 year business experience is required.

Serves to effectively build relationships and recruit students from assigned schools within the Lake Union and territories within the North American Division. Coordinates and schedules recruiting appointments and trips to these schools.  Helps with visits and events on campus for prospective students. Works on weekends as needed for travel and events.

A Postdoctoral position is available at 老司机传媒 to do research in space physics.  Projects include wide-ranging phenomena at the Sun and planetary magnetospheres and ionospheres, including KH instabilities, solar wind-magnetosphere coupling, magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling, ionospheric scintillations, solar cycle and flare dynamics, plasma transport and circulation in the magnetospheres of the Earth, Jupiter, and Saturn.  Our research is characterized by a strong integration of theory, modeling, and observations.
