Individual Class Events
Planning is well underway for this year’s individual class events. If you do not see additional activities listed below for your honor year and would like to be involved in the planning of such activities, please contact our office at 269.471.6140 or acadalum@andrews.edu.

Honor Class Contact Information:

Class of 1958 – Sabbath: 12:30pm,  Remain in the chapel after Convocation for Honor Class Photo.  Then proceed through the buffet line in the commons.  We will have an assigned room to eat and fellowship together.  After dinner we will gather at Leroy Patterson’s home for more fellowship together.

Class of 1963 - Friday: 3:00 pm, Fellowship at Tom Kimmel’s home. Sabbath: 10:45am, recognition of 50 year class during Alumni proceedings. 12:30pm, Remain in the chapel after Convocation for Honor Class photo. Then proceed to room C30 where a buffet lunch will be waiting. 3:00pm, Fellowship at Glenn Poole’s house.

Class of 1968 - Sabbath: 12:30pm, Remain in the chapel after Convocation for Honor Class Photo. Then proceed through the buffet line in the commons. We will have an assigned room to eat and fellowship together. Sunday: 9am-3:00, Brunch at the Waterfront Restaurant on Paw Paw Lake, 5713 Beech Ave, Coloma, MI 49038, the website is . Cost is $12.95 per person, not including drinks, tax, and tip. After brunch, possibly go to Deer Forest, . Cost is $7.50 with group rates if over 10 people.

Class of 1978 - Friday: After vespers at the Academy, come stay warm around a bonfire at the Alumni House (Dr. Orrison's old home). There will be donuts and hot drinks. Sabbath: 12:30pm, Proceed through the buffet line in the commons. We will have an assigned room to eat and fellowship together. After lunch and Honor class photo, those that want to can head back over to the Alumni house to hang out by the fire and continue the fun of reminiscing. 6:30pm, Plan to gather at the art gallery in Smith hall on campus like we did 5 years ago. Please bring old year books and pictures. We will have a light supper and would appreciate you contributing toward the expense of the food. Those that want to go to the Shydepoke are more than welcome, but those that want to stay in the gallery to visit are more than welcome to stay as long as you like.

Class of 1988 - Sabbath: 11:15am, Alumni Convocation presented by our class. 12:30pm, Proceed through the buffet line in the commons and then space has been reserved for our class in Sunshine Hall (hallway behind the chapel) to eat and fellowship. We will be called for our Honor Class photo from there. 4-7pm, Fellowship at Dan and Joelle (Perry) Ashley’s home at 1559 Walling Ln, Niles, MI  49120. Sunday: 10am-noon, Brunch at Five Pines Ministries, 6597 Smith Rd, Berrien Center, MI 49102. We’ll be in and around the barn-themed activity center at Five Pines which has a ping pong table, foosball, and a pool table up in an open loft overlooking a nice meeting area with wood-burning stove, etc. Also, there’s a playground outside for the smaller members in your family. The website is . Cost is $30 (to be collected when you arrive) from each family represented at the brunch, in order to pay for the cost of space rental and food.

Class of 1998 – Sabbath:  12:30pm, Proceed through the buffet line in the commons.  We will have an assigned room to eat and fellowship together.  We will be called from there to take our honor class photo.  5pm:  Supper in the activity center of University Towers.
