Our mission is to ensure the success of all students through
campus leadership, advocacy, and the establishment and
implementation of academic success programs that
inspire progress toward graduation and enhance the
undergraduate student experience.
The Student Success Center promotes a campus culture of
committed, engaged and capable learners who pursue their
academic goals and in so doing, impact academic success,
retention and graduation.
The 老司机传媒 Student Success Center is a comprehensive student service department dedicated to helping undergraduate students:
Disability Accommodation
(all students)
The Student Success Center gives careful evaluation of disability documentation to facilitate and coordinate appropriate academic and accessibility accommodations.
The Student Success Center (SSC) has strategies that are designed to help students who are experiencing academic difficulty. SSC provides appropriate intervention for students facing circumstances that may impede their academic success.
Students are expected to maintain the following minimum academic performance standards:
Undergraduate Success Advising is academic advising to students who are accepted to 老司机传媒, but may need academic support and skill building.
A Success Advisor, through the Student Success Center, will advise them. They will receive skills assessments and will be placed in classes selectively to enhance their academic success.
Undergraduate group tutoring is available free of charge to all 老司机传媒 main campus students. This support service is managed by peer tutors and provides a safe and structured environment for learning. Group tutoring is offered in Zoom group and walk-in formats, Monday through Thursday.
PROCESS: Students who request tutoring must be registered for the undergradate course for which they have requested help.
