ACA: Access to a Transformative Experience Explained Through Demographics.
This research intends to assess how ACA helps students further their education by adding a linguistic and cultural component to their experience. By looking at race, gender, major and the motives to attend ACA we seek to show that this opportunity is transformative and inclusive among Adventist Higher Education students in North America compared to the national demographics for study abroad participants. Our hypothesis is that students attending ACA represent a wider diversity group than those attending non-SDA study abroad programs.
