Practical Application of Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle to Professional Development as Perceived by the Participants of Leadership Development Programs in Cross-Cultural Settings
This study is an in-depth look at the many factors influencing the practical application of Kolb’s experiential learning cycle to leadership development programs. Employing qualitative research, the study uses a case study approach focusing on the personal experiences of the participants of the Master’s program in Leadership in Brazil. The basic data collection method consists of in-depth face-to-face interviews with participants, supported by follow-up email interviews and non-participant observations of the environment during one intensive session of the program. Data analysis includes a within-case analysis presenting a detailed description of the case, followed by a thematic analysis across the participants’ experiences.
