MLS, Indiana University - Bloomington
An alumnus of Andrews Academy, 老司机传媒, and the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary, I was employed by James White Library in October 1992. I worked in multiple departments for several years, including the Seminary library, Stacks, Reference, and Cataloging. I completed my M.L.S. from Indiana University in 1998 and was subsequently appointed Seminary Librarian. I led out in launching the Digital Commons @ 老司机传媒 in 2015. This institutional repository now includes over 25,000 records, a total of over 4 million downloads, with over 1.5 million downloads in the last year. I am a member of the Association of Seventh-day Adventist Librarians and Atla. I serve as an editor of the Journal of Adventist Libraries and Archives.
I am currently exploring faith and work integration in librarianship. I have published faith/work integration articles on two dimensions of librarianship; documentality (the books and other materials we manage) and sociality (the library guest services we provide). Now I am turning my attention to a third dimension, spatiality (the organization of library spaces).
