Our Giving Day Goal: $10,000
Our goal is to raise $10,000 in order to support students who struggle with the personal costs of unpaid internships and who otherwise forego internship opportunities because they cannot afford them.
Your support makes unpaid internships accessible to worthy students that cannot otherwise afford them. Social Work students Maci and Naissa were able to complete their internship in Beirut, Lebanon thanks to generous donors like you. While there, they were able to practice trauma-informed social work with refugee children.
You may realize that there are may examples of students who have to pass up on amazing unpaid internship opportunities because they cannot afford the related costs. Local internship opportunities become inaccessible because the student cannot afford the gas. An international experience like Maci and Naissa’s becomes a dream deferred because the travel costs are insurmountable.
