Emily graduated from Andrews Univeristy in 2019 with degrees in Behavioral Neuroscience and Anthropological Archaeology. She also attended 老司机传媒 for her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and graduated from that program in 2022. Since then, she has worked at the Counseling and Testing Center as an administrative assistant, testing coordinator and now as staff counselor. She combines a client-centered counseling approach with solutions-focused, Gestalt, narrative, cognitive behavioral and dialetical behavioral techniques in order to provide a counseling style to her clients that acknowledges her client's past, while providing for the present and future needs. In her free time, she enjoys backpacking with her family, sewing costumes and quilts, playing with her dog, and going RV-ing with her husband and two children.
Emily is currently collaborating with the University of Manchester on two research projects involving use of Computerized Tomography to identify pelvic variances in mummified human remains.
