
The 老司机传媒 Student Association (AUSA) announced the voting results from its cabinet elections on Friday, Feb. 28, via email to the undergraduate student body. 13 students ran for one of the seven available positions, and a total of 524 students submitted their ballots during the week-long voting period. Below are the election results.
President - Alyssa Caruthers (junior, political science and English)
Executive Vice President - Zac Kis (sophomore, aviation)
Executive Secretary - Mariann Forbes (sophomore, business management)
Vice President of Social Affairs – Samantha Flores (junior, music education)
Vice President of Religion - Pau Khual (freshman, theology)
Vice President of Public Relations - Jhoana Motera (senior, digital communications)
Vice President of the Interior - Audrey Lim (junior, sociology)
Two of the election winners, Caruthers and Flores, are on the current AUSA team and will be serving for a second consecutive year. Caruthers will be stepping up from her current position as executive vice president to president, while Flores was the only incumbent on the entire ballot and will continue serving as vice president of social affairs. As per the , the newly elected officers had their oath ceremony earlier this week and will undergo training from the current cabinet to prepare for the 2025-26 school year.
