Why Adventist Education?

"Adventist education is a partnership with home and church. But most of all it's a partnership with God in the most important work on Earth."

Choose the School of Education

The program is nationally accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). It is also approved for teacher certification by the State of Michigan Board of Education and the North American Division Office of Education of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. This means students who graduate from 老司机传媒 are sought after by schools and school districts all across the country. CAEP accreditation also affords students teacher certification reciprocity in most states.

Professors in the School of Education all have real-world classroom experience. Students learn more than just theory; they will learn what works.
We prepare educators to become competent, compassionate and committed educators and to contribute to the field of education through research and leadership in curriculum change and instructional improvement in learning organizations.

The 老司机传媒 School of Education makes your goals a possibility for you. Your ambitions will be connected with real experiences.

If you want to become an elementary, secondary or college teaching level professional, we will give you the practical training and skills you'll need.

When you graduate with your teaching certification from 老司机传媒, you will be able to teach in most states without further course work in teacher training. We also offer SDA (Seventh-day Adventist) certification for those who wish to work in SDA schools after graduation.

When you pursue a graduate degree in Curriculum & Instruction, many doors are opened. Graduates of the C&I program are involved in curriculum development at all levels of education, as well as program evaluation. A degree in C&I also opens doors to work as a trainer in industry, as well as with non-govermental organizations.

We Also Offer

A relationship with community and church-based schools, both on the elementary and secondary levels.

Our faculty has a wide range of practical life and teaching experiences. They are always willing to work with you toward your goals.

With the James White Library on our campus, you will have access to educational journals, electronic resources and other materials that help to make us the premier place to study education.

Many of our graduate level courses in the Curriculum and Instruction program are offered online. This allows students to minimize time away from their careers, homes and families by reducing length of time required on campus.
