Description: Designed for 5th-12th grade teachers, this workshop provides the tools needed to teach beginner students coding with VEXcode Virtual Robots (VR). VEXcode VR lets the student code a virtual robot using a block-based coding environment. This type of coding environment meets students at their level. The intuitive layout of VEX code allows student to get started quickly and easily. No installation required. Must have a device (iPad, Chromebook, Windows, or Mac) that has a browser with internet access.

Description: Bring nature into your classroom. Learn basic leaf, stem, flower, and fruit structure from your backyard or produce isle of the grocery store. This practical ‘dirty lab’ experience is hands-on identification of plant parts and fruit classification. Great for teachers of grades K-6th, but open to higher grade educators as well. All materials are easily reproducible from your local landscape.  We will give you the tools to take an outside walkaround for a class that needs to enjoy the fresh air.
