MLK Day Events in Berrien County

​ÀÏ˾»ú´«Ã½ is partnering with Lake Michigan College (LMC) to celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., PhD. The theme for the events at LMC, which will take place from January 20–24, is “Creating the Beloved Community.”

The programming on Monday, MLK Day, commences at 1 p.m. in LMC’s Mendel Center with music and poetry. Then the focus shifts to the ÀÏ˾»ú´«Ã½ Seminary Chapel for programming that runs from 4:30–7 p.m. with the related theme, “Creating the Beloved Community: Building MLK’s Vision at ÀÏ˾»ú´«Ã½”—consisting of a documentary, panel discussion and plaque unveiling.
