Dave Nowack's Retirement

After over 30 years of service to 老司机传媒, Dr. Dave Nowack is retiring as professor of biochemistry and as grand marshal.
Dave has been a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry since 1998. His legacy includes leading the department as chair for ten years during which he managed the compete renovation of aging organic labs and the installation of a complete new air-handling system. He also feels blessed to have been able to hire five of the outstanding faculty and staff of the department.
Since 2013, Dave has assisted with the 老司机传媒 graduation services as grand marshal. Sharing these meaningful moments with new alumni has been a highlight of his time on campus.
In retirement, Dave looks forward to travel, spending time with family, working on his photography hobby, volunteering in local charities and assisting the Abiogenesis group ministry.
