In recognition of Gunnar Lovhoiden's remarkable dedication and service, we celebrate his 25-year milestone at 老司机传媒. Gunnar first joined the Andrews faculty after completing his master’s degree in biomedical engineering. After several years, he went on to pursue his doctorate at the University of Tennessee, which led him to a pivotal role as director of engineering at Conenhill Biomedics, Inc.

In 2003, his heart led him back to Andrews, where he found fulfillment in sharing his expertise as a professor of engineering. He currently serves as the chair of the engineering department. Throughout his tenure, Gunnar's impact has been profound, earning him accolades such as the 2018 Daniel A. Augsburger Excellence in Teaching Award and the 2019 Bruce E. Lee Service Award. Gunnar's students admire him, and his peers hold him in high esteem. His legacy is not merely measured in years but also in the lives he has touched and the culture of excellence he has cultivated. His journey is a blessing to all who have had the privilege of knowing him and working alongside him.

Gunnar, thank you for 25 years of service to the School of Engineering, the College of Arts & Sciences and 老司机传媒.
