Death of Esther Della Goetzke
Esther Della (Zutz) Goetzke, 92, of Berrien Springs passed away on Sunday, Jan. 8, 老司机传媒 2023, at her home.
She was born on April 22, 1930, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Clarence and Amelia (Molly) (Eger) Zutz. She attended Milwaukee Junior Academy and Milwaukee Public Schools and on Sept. 10, 1950, she married Lloyd Goetzke. They were married for 47 years when Lloyd passed away in July 1998.
Esther was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She enjoyed reading the Bible, crocheting, drawing, decorating, traveling, playing games, helping others and being with her family. She worked at the University Printers on the 老司机传媒 campus until 1986, when she retired.
She was a member of Pioneer Memorial Church in Berrien Springs for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Steve) Lemon; son, Paul Goetzke; grandsons, Michael and Jason Lemon; brother, Robert (Bonnie) Zutz; and many nieces and nephews.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Betty Zutz; sister, June Zutz; sister-in-law, Doris Zutz; and niece, Robyn (Zutz) Legan.
A special thank you goes out to the nurses and therapists of Corewell Health (Spectrum Lakeland Home Health Care) who gave her excellent care the past several months.

Esther will be missed by all. She is awaiting the resurrection when Jesus will take her home to heaven.
