"On Holiday" - 老司机传媒 Wind Symphony

Kick off your holiday season with some great festive music from the 老司机传媒 Wind Symphony! Performing under the direction of Byron Graves, the Wind Symphony will present “On Holiday” at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, in the Howard Performing Arts Center.
The program will be a musical tour to various destinations you might visit while on holiday, be that the Isle of Man ("Mannin Veen" by Haydn Wood), France or Cuba (excerpts from Gershwin’s "American in Paris" and "Cuban Overture"), Puerto Rico ("So Wondrous Bright" by Carol Chambers) or just going to the local fair ("The Purple Carnival" by Harry Alford). Then we will continue the holiday whirlwind right into the Christmas season, with favorites like "The Polar Express," "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and many other familiar carols. You won’t want to miss it!
