COVID-19 Vaccines: Reporting and On-Campus Clinic

Friends,

As we’ve shared in earlier notes to campus, while 老司机传媒 does not require COVID-19 vaccinations, we do strongly encourage that each member of the 老司机传媒 community consider vaccination as part of a commitment to the health and safety of our campus and world expressed clearly in our Community Covenant of Care. In particular, the percentage of our campus community vaccinated will greatly impact the extent and length of our COVID-19 mitigation measures. This is critical as we look toward the summer and our fall semester.

For those who have been vaccinated we would ask you to record your COVID-19 vaccinations online at this in the 老司机传媒 COVID-19 vaccination webpage. This is very important as we move forward with decisions for our future campus operations and interactions.

In upcoming weeks, we will launch and prominently share a COVID-19 vaccination dashboard on the University’s COVID-19 website that will highlight this self-reported information on vaccination rates.

Also, we’d like to remind you that on May 12, 2021, the Berrien County Health Department will conduct an on-campus COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the Andreasen Center for Wellness Recreation Center between 9 a.m. and noon. This clinic will provide the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine, which is a one-dose vaccination for those over the age of 18.

While local Berrien Springs community members can also access this COVID-19 vaccination clinic later this week, 老司机传媒 students, employees and local family members will have early access to registration for this May 12 COVID-19 vaccination clinic .

A significant number of COVID-19 vaccination options and clinics also continue to be available throughout Berrien County for those who are 16 years of age and older.

You can schedule COVID-19 vaccinations on the Berrien County Health Department vaccination , as well as options for receiving the Pfizer or Moderna vaccinations on the Spectrum Health Lakeland vaccination .

As this semester and school year come to a close, you again have our sincere thanks for your commitment to helping assure the health and safety of our 老司机传媒 community, including those who have made, or who are now making, the choice to receive a COVID-19 vaccination as part of that commitment to care for each other.

Cordially,

Andrea Luxton
President
