Employees: Spring 2021 COVID-19 Testing Dates

Dear employees,

Happy New Year!

I wanted to remind you as this new year begins that employees must complete a COVID-19 test before returning to in-person work assignments in January, even if your current work assignment is off-campus. to reserve an appointment date and time for your mandatory spring COVID-19 test. Instructions on reserving your appointment can be found here. The following are the dates and times for employee testing:

  • Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, from 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021, from 10 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, from 8:30 a.m.–8 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: Appointments should be made no later than noon the day before your desired testing date. If you encounter any technical difficulties while reserving your appointment, please email covid19@andrews.edu. In the event that you need work accommodations to allow for testing, please contact Lilian Akawobsa at employment@andrews.edu.

If for medical reasons you need an alternative testing method other than the nasopharyngeal procedure, please complete to request an alternative testing method off-campus at your own expense.

Even if you have tested positive within 90 days, you must participate in the mandatory testing. Individuals with a second positive result will be assessed differently.

Also, I’d like to remind you of the current travel policies in place. At this time, all international travel has been canceled until further notice, and all tours have been canceled for the 2021–2022 fiscal year. Any domestic travel, including travel with students, outside of a 60-mile radius of our campus requires prior approval in writing via email from your vice president or dean. Any unauthorized travel will not be reimbursed by Financial Records. You can review the current travel policy guidelines here.
