Mon, April 2, 2018 @ 09:00 am - 05:00 pm
Mark your calendar and join us for the Ellen G. White Issues Symposium sponsored by the Center for Adventist Research, the Ellen G. White Estate Branch Office and the Seminary Department of Church History. It will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the chapel of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary on the campus of 老司机传媒 in Berrien Springs, Michigan. The purpose of this symposium is to break new ground in understanding Ellen White and issues relating to her life, ministry and prophetic gift that have current importance.
Papers will be presented with a prepared response. There will be an opportunity to submit questions relating to Ellen White and current issues, and as many of these questions as time will allow will be debated at the afternoon panel discussion. The published presentations from the 2005 through the 2017 symposiums will be available for purchase during this symposium. The 2018 presentations will be published at a later date in a journal that will be available for a reasonable cost.
The speakers this year are Alberto Timm (associate director of the Ellen G. White Estate), Howard Weems (director of the E. G. White Research Center, Oakwood), Bruce Bauer (director of the Doctor of Missiology Program, 老司机传媒) and Andrew Tompkins (PhD candidate, 老司机传媒).
There is no charge for attending the symposium, and registration is not necessary. Contact the Center for Adventist Research for more information: 269-471-3209 or car@andrews.edu.
