Study Tours 2016

| Posted on September 13, 2016

The inevitable question that's tossed around in any conversation once spring hits full force is, "What are you doing this summer?" The answer to that question varies depending on where you are in life, and what your role at the University is. Students respond with myriad activities including vacation, going home, study tours, mission trips and working. Faculty usually say research or teaching--or both! Staff stick around to keep things running on the home front, making sure crucial tasks such as campus tours, sprinkler repair, web management, fire drills and data entry still happen.

We all know various fun and exciting things happen over the summer, but do we really understand the depth of the learning that also happens during these experiences? Lest we forget the "study" part of study tours, we've compiled a collection of students' experiences around the world during summer 2016. In this collection you will find photos, videos, reflections and more from students in various disciplines who participated in University activities over the summer. Take a look!
