The October 15-18 Gift of Prophecy in Scripture and History Symposium is being held on the campus of 老司机传媒 this year in recognition of the centennial of Ellen White’s death and will launch a quinquennial world-wide emphasis in the Seventh-day Adventist Church for understanding the gift of prophecy. Those interested in Old Testament and New Testament teaching, theology, and history on the gift of prophecy, as well as the writings of Ellen White, will be interested to attend and enhance their understanding of how the gift of prophecy was manifest in the past and also in a changing post-modern world.

A new suite, We, From Battle Creek, composed by PMC’s Kenneth Logan, will be premiered by the AU Wind Symphony and Alan Mitchell on Friday, Oct. 16, 8:30-9:00 p.m., Howard Performing Arts Center. The music reflects on Adventist heritage from Battle Creek, Michigan in publishing house, college, tabernacle, and cemetery. The premiere is part of the Gift of Prophecy Symposium HPAC meeting that starts at 6:30 p.m. with presentations on the gift of prophecy in ancient through Reformation Christianity.

Reserved seating and a special Symposium publication is offered to all registrants. A special registration rate of $10 is being offered to the first 100 current AU students. Co-curricular credit is also available. Non-registered individuals are invited to attend both the Friday evening and Sabbath afternoon sessions. For more information or to register, visit .
